On behalf of the Danish Ministry of Fisheries, we can, as exclusive brokers, offer the former fishery inspection vessel M/V Vestkysten for sale.
M/V Vestkysten was built at Marstal Stålskibsværft og Maskinfabrik in Denmark in 1987. The vessel has been kept to great standards and is in very good condition. The vessel has two 1,084 BHP MAN B&W Alpha 6L23/30D main engines driving a single controllable pitch propeller. In addition, the Vestkysten has two Brunvoll thrusters.
The Vessel is built for onboard fishery inspections and rescue missions at sea. The intended working area is the North Sea and in the North Atlantic Ocean, but the engines have additional cooling for operations in tropical waters also.
The vessel is equipped with two tugger winches for towing of vessels, two fire-fighting water canons (100 m3/hr), and a hydraulic stern gate for launching of the rescue boat. The bridge is fully equipped with all necessary equipment for navigation and communication.
Vestkysten is for sale for EUR 2,000,000 and can be delivered promptly. Available for inspection at any time upon arrangement with Atlantic Shipping AS.
