On 15th July, the 200 meters Ropax Ferry “Badji Mokhtar III” departured from China.
The ferry has a capacity of 1800 passengers and 600 cars. She has 12 decks, with various functional restaurants and catering areas, open-air recreation areas, duty-free shops, bars, and other public places for passengers. The total public area is more than 20,000 square meters. The ship has been signed full of Algerian culture and art elements, as luxurious as a cruise ship.
The ship has 2 independent sea-view presidential suites, 4 superior suites, 8 VIP suites, plus 188 x 2 passenger rooms, 254 x 4 passenger rooms and 13 x 6 passenger rooms, a total of more than 500 rooms, and nearly 100 crew rooms, suitable for international short trips.
In addition, the ship also meets the latest requirements of the International Maritime Organization (IMO) for safe return to port and Tier III emission requirements, equipped with desulfurization devices, a luxury passenger roll ship integrating environmental protection, green, energy-saving, and comfort.
The ship will sail between Algeria to Marseille, Barcelona, and other ports in Southern Europe.
In this project, Atlantic Shipping A/S has assisted the Buyer in finding the right shipyard and to final delivery.
