Filip Mikkjalsson Hammer

Filip was born and raised in the Faroe Islands and has around 2.5 years of fishing experience from working on various Faroese wet-fish- and freezing trawlers. This fishing experience has given him a good understanding of fishing vessels, fish products and the fishing industry as a whole.

After college, he moved to Copenhagen to study and got a Bachelor degree in International Shipping and Trade from Copenhagen Business School in 2018 and subsequently a Masters Degree in Economics and Business Administration, also from Copenhagen Business School.

Filip works as Business Development Manager at Atlantic Shipping. He speaks Faroese, Scandinavian, and English.
