Growing up in an environment so influenced by the fishing industry gave him a good understanding of fisheries, fishing vessels and fish products at an early age.
After college he moved to Copenhagen to study Business Administration and Commercial Law at Copenhagen Business School, and received a Master’s Degree in August 2011.
Just after finishing his studies, Ingibjørn began working at Atlantic Shipping as a shipbroker. He speaks Faroese, Scandinavian and English fluently.
