Each year Atlantic Shipping A/S sponsors various associations and projects that have charitable purposes.
Many of the projects that we help with donations support various types of sport and/or are health related (support to ill people and their families).
It is important to us that the projects we support help other people in a direct and practical manner.
Among others, we have supported the following organizations:
- Børnecancerfonden/Team Rynkeby (a foundation for children with cancer).
- Politiets IF (a sports organisation for police men).
- Paralympic Games
- Unicef
- Børns Vilkår (support of Danish children who experience abuse, bullying, divorce).
- Familier med Kræftramte Børn (support of families of children with
cancer). - Børn, Unge og Kræft (support of children and teens with cancer).
- Roskilde BMX Klub (a BMX club in Roskilde, Denmark).
- Gadstrup Gymnastik (gymnastics in Gadstrup, Denmark).
- Selbjørn Idrettslag Austevoll (a sports club in Austevoll, Norway)
- Children’s home in Uummanaq
- Raft Team Denmark Ladies Denmarks national rafting team (women)
- Løkke Fonden (support of young boys)
